Computer and laptop repairs in Zambia

When a computer stops working, the priority is getting it back without losing your files or spending more than the machine is worth. We diagnose the fault, explain your options and agree the cost before starting.

What we repair

Faults we deal with every week

A computer that misbehaves can have more than one cause. We test the machine properly instead of guessing, and we tell you what we found before we replace anything.

Laptops and desktops

Windows and Mac machines used at home, in the office or on site. We look at the whole device, not just the obvious fault.

Screens, keyboards and hinges

Cracked screens, dead keys, sticky touchpads and damaged hinges replaced where parts are available.

Power and charging faults

Computers that will not switch on or charge, faulty chargers, battery problems and sudden shutdowns.

Storage and data

Failing hard drives, slow disks, missing files and recovery attempts before a drive is replaced.

Slow computers

Clean-ups, virus removal, memory and solid-state drive upgrades that make an older machine usable again.

Connections and setup

Wi-Fi that will not connect, printers that have disappeared, drivers and the software you need reinstalled.

Symptoms

If your computer is doing any of this, bring it in

You do not need to know what is wrong. Describe what happens, or send a photo or short video on WhatsApp, and we will take it from there.

If your problem is not on the list, ask anyway. The list is not the limit of what we can look at.

  • The laptop will not switch on at all
  • It starts, then switches off by itself
  • The fan is loud or the machine gets very hot
  • Windows takes minutes to start
  • The screen is cracked or shows lines
  • Keys or the touchpad have stopped working
  • The battery no longer charges or lasts
  • Pop-ups, strange toolbars or unwanted programs
  • Blue screens or random restarts
  • The computer cannot find the hard drive
  • Files have gone missing or a drive is clicking
  • A printer or office device will not connect

What happens next

From drop-off to working computer

You will know where things stand at each stage. We do not start chargeable work without your go-ahead.

  1. 01

    Tell us what happened

Bring the device and its charger, or start with a message. Tell us when the problem began and anything you have already tried.

  2. 02

    We diagnose it

We check the hardware, storage, software and connections to find the real cause rather than treating the first symptom.

  3. 03

You get the options and price

We explain what needs doing, what it costs and whether a repair makes sense. You choose what to approve.

  4. 04

    We repair and test it

After the repair we test the machine, check that your files and programs are in place, and hand it back working.

Repair or replace?

Not every computer is worth repairing. If the cost of the fix is close to the price of a suitable replacement, or the machine is too old to run the software you need, we will say so. We will still give you an honest repair price so you can compare. If you do decide to replace it, we can supply a suitable machine and move your files across.

Common questions

Computer repair questions

Short answers to the things customers usually want to know first. If your question is not here, send it to us on WhatsApp.

Ask us by email
Do you repair both Windows laptops and MacBooks?

We work on Windows laptops and desktops, and we can look at Mac laptops and desktops. Some Mac repairs need specific parts, so we will confirm what is possible and the cost before starting.

Will I lose my files when the computer is repaired?

Most repairs do not affect your files, and we aim to keep your data intact. Where a repair or reinstall could affect data, we discuss it with you first and back up what we can. If a drive has already failed, we will tell you honestly what can and cannot be recovered.

Can you tell me the price before you repair it?

Yes. We check the device, explain what we found and what needs to be done, and confirm the price before any repair work starts. If the repair is not worth the cost, we will say so.

Do you repair printers and other equipment too?

Yes. We install, configure and troubleshoot printers, scanners and common office equipment as part of our IT support. Hardware that needs replacing can be supplied through our equipment service.
